 I Am Legend

I’ve had enough of this world’s cruel game,
Pushing me down, drowning me in shame.
Once at the peak, you threw me from grace,
But I danced with despair, with a smile on my face.

You tried to halt my relentless stride,
Plunging my life into shadows where hope would hide.
But I am no puppet, I refuse your control,
Even alone, I remain whole.

You broke my will, shook my core,
Made me question who I was before.
But today, I stand with strength anew,
And show the world what I can do.

Behind this beauty, an ugly truth lies,
A force so fierce, it'll darken your skies.
I unsheathe my sword, no longer rusted,
And in this battle, I’ll be trusted.

You’ve had your turn, now it’s mine,
No more tears, it’s time to shine.
I’ll rise again, to heights unknown,
And claim the mountain as my throne.

No road too hard, no path too steep,
I’ll conquer all, while you lie asleep.
Mock me now, but soon you’ll see,
The legend that I was born to be.

The Broken Samurai

Once stood a samurai named Kenji, bold and strong,

His skills unmatched, tales of his glory long.

In battles fierce, his foes would quake with fear,

A master of the blade, his legend ever near.

But pride and ego led him down a lazy road,

The great samurai, now broken, his fame erode.

The women ceased their longing, men envied him no more,

The hero turned to laughingstock, his praises now folklore.

Yet whispers of his strength remained, a spark within,

The fire dimmed but not yet out, a battle to begin.

One night in silent meditation, he found his path,

To reclaim his lost glory, to escape his inner wrath.

He trained with fierce determination, day and night,

His spirit burning bright again, his goal in sight.

At last, the day of reckoning, a competition grand,

Kenji faced his rivals strong, with steady hand.

In the final bout stood Hiroshi, a warrior trained from youth,

A formidable opponent, his skill and strength the truth.

But Kenji would not yield, his spirit burning bright,

He fought with all his heart and soul, reclaiming his lost might.

For three long hours the battle raged, the crowd in awe,

Kenji’s blade danced through the air, his purpose without flaw.

At last, he stood victorious, the crowd bowed at his feet,

The broken samurai was gone, his triumph now complete.

Princess Aiko’s heart was his, the victory, his gain,

From rock bottom he had risen, with nothing left to stain.

Kenji, now the great once more, had earned their love and trust,

A hero’s tale of fall and rise, his legend now robust.

Compounding – The Eighth Wonder Of The World

"Compounding Is The Eighth Wonder Of The World."-Albert Einstein

C

The magic of Compounding is one of the most beautiful thing one can ever see. It shows that in the long run one- or two-day struggles are insignificant what actually matters is small steps compounded over a long period of time. For a person who has never witnessed the beauty of compounding, this line may seem stupid but once you realize that how compounding governs your life everything starts making sense. So, to show you the power of compounding let me give you an example:

What would you choose 10 crore rupees or 1 rupee that doubles itself every day for 31 days?

Now most of us will choose 10 crore rupees at once and it makes sense that what difference would 1 rupee make until you do the math.

Day 1: 1

Day 10: 512 rupees (very small amount)

Day 15: 16,384 rupees (looks like an ant in front of elephant)

Day 20:  5,24,488 rupees (now you may feel that only an idiot will make such a choice)

Day 25: 1,67,77,216 (well still small in front of 10 crores)

Day 31: 1,07,37,41,824 rupees (Now you wish that you made this choice)

An amount as small as 1 rupee after being compounded becomes 10 times more than 10 crores. This is the power of compounding. In life we take decisions or are into habits that we think are small and won’t affect our life but they actually do. And the best thing about compounding is also the worst thing about it, it applies to all aspect. Which means that one more episode of a web series each day is affecting you. One more ice cream also has a worse effect on your health. Your conception that one day no reading or  junk food for 2 days will not affect your life is  wrong because if that one rupee is not compounded for four meaningless days, it remains only 6 crores.

We all take a new year resolution every year and must have worked hard for at most a week but that week is not enough, what you need is a habit. 1 day of reading books won’t make you Einstein, one day at the gym will not make you Arnold, one day in the stock market will not make you Warren Buffet. The equation of success is very simple and this misunderstood, So, I want you to always remember this equation.

Small & Smart Choices + Consistency + Time = Radical Differences.

Now all the stuff that I told you explains the phenomenal power compounding holds but does not tell us how to implement this power in real life. So, Let’s take a look on that through an example: Suppose, You and your friend are of the exact same shape and size. You are at the same position and have the same salary. You decide that from now on you will read 10 pages of a new book everyday and walk 1000 steps more each day while your friend decides he can enjoy 1 hour more TV and maybe a can of soft drink each day. He or she just wants to enjoy life a bit. If someone compares both of you after 10 months you will be exact same. Yes, no difference but you don’t stop and continue those habits. After 18 months you notice changes. You are trim while your friend is fat. You got a promotion because of the knowledge from those books you read while your friend is where he was though he is a bit jealous. This is what compounding looks in real life. The path to success is too simple that we ignore or miss it and the main reason behind this is our perception that only complicated things are true while everything else is meaningless.  But if you have read till here, you are probably thinking “Man! How did I miss this?” Well now you know and it is crucial to start as possible so that you can reap the benefits. Remember TIME is one of the most important part of the equation.

Power Of Being Consistent- Arjun Pandit

Power-Of-Being-Consistent- Arjun-Pandit

The Japanese have a concept called Kaizen. It is a Sino-Japanese word that means ‘change for the better’. This fundamental principle has been used by Japanese industry to apply continuous and constant incremental improvement of working practices every day. This is the ideal way to think of consistency. So, let me start this step by narrating a story that conveys the idea perfectly:

A young boy in China came from his remote village to become a monk at the world-renowned Shaolin Temple. The Shaolin monks were known worldwide for their skill in martial arts such as Kung-Fu. The boy was interviewed by a senior monk and was finally accepted. On his very first day of instruction, he was ordered by his teacher to carry a heavy wooden bucket down the mountainside to a stream, fill it entirely with water and bring it back into the temple courtyard. The boy did as he was told, but found that it required a lot of effort on his part to carry the heavy bucket all the way back to the temple. When he got back, most of the water had splashed out. The instructor emptied out the remaining water and commanded the boy to do it again and ensure that he returned with the bucket full. The boy repeated the process and this time he managed to get most of the water back to the temple. ‘Good,’ observed the instructor. ‘Now stand next to the bucket and with your palms slap the surface of the water. Keep doing it until there is no water left in the bucket.’ After a few minutes, the boy’s palms were red and burning from slapping the water, but he continued until all the water had splashed out. ‘Excellent,’ said the instructor. ‘Now go fetch another bucket of water and do it again.’ This went on the entire day, and to the boy’s disappointment, the next day, too. Then the following day, and the next. Weeks and months went by and all that the boy did was carry several buckets of water to the courtyard and slap all the water out on each occasion. The boy felt that he was being punished. He wondered why his teacher refused to teach him Kung-Fu. After a year, the head monk called the boy into his office. ‘You have been here for a year. I want you to take a break and visit your family. Please be back here in two weeks to resume your training.’ When the villagers heard that the young Shaolin monk was coming home, they were overjoyed. They led him to a banquet that had been laid out in his honour on a heavy stone table in the village courtyard. When they had eaten, the villagers asked him to demonstrate his Kung-Fu skills. He felt guilty and told them that did not want to do any demonstration. But they insisted. The boy felt humiliated because he had no skills to show. ‘Leave me alone,’ he yelled as he stood up from the table at which they were all seated. ‘I learned absolutely nothing!’ He slammed his hand down on the table in anger. Everyone was stunned. They stood in pin-drop silence, staring at the thick stone table that the boy had broken when he slammed his hand down.

What is the point of the story?

Simple, really. There is power in consistency. Don’t ever forget it. Remember the words of the author Robert Collier who said: ‘Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.’

5 Assets That make you wealthy

"If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die."

5-assets-that-make-you-rich

We all need cash. It's a necessity of life. You ought to not be a slave of cash however you need to understand the importance of money. Many people raise the question, The way to create money? The way to get rich? Therefore, during this article, I will share five assets that may assist you to get wealthy. However, first we need to understand the definition of an asset because most of the time folks misunderstand it.

What is an asset & when an individual is understood as rich?

We cannot consider anyone as wealthy just because they have a BMW or are able to purchase the new iPhone. True wealth is outlined by the number of assets you own. You're wealthy once you own assets that are able to raise enough money to cover all your expenses.

Now you may be wondering that what an asset is? One thing that works for you and appreciates your money. A true asset works for you even when you are sleeping.

Which are those five assets that can make you rich?

1. Owning Your Business - Your own business, if it's winning, can allow you to make money while sleeping. Your team, your works, your product, your promoting can create cash for you. If you consider the richest folks within the world, then on its list, are those who started their own business. The richest folks of the globe, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg all of them started their own business.

The richest folks of India, Mukesh Ambani, Azim Premji, Adani all of them started their own business. it doesn't mean that you will earn if you start a business, no, business is a risky proposition, which means that if it works then it is amazing but if it doesn't work then you can lose a lot.

2. Owning Business Through Stocks –

Currently, everybody cannot begin their own business however this is often definite that owning a business creates an asset as the business runs 24*7 therefore, it's creating money even when you are enjoying on a vacation with your family.

So, if you cant start your own business then you can at least own a business and the best way to own a business is through stocks when you buy a share or stocks of a company in the stock market then basically you are becoming a part of that business you say that I believe in this business so when it grows its stock price will also grow and then I will become rich, my wealth will be created but the most important thing that be a 'long term investor'. only day trading or short term trading or reacting on tips like buy this or sell this not that is not wealth that is gambling. wealth is created when you take long term bets.

One of the richest people in the world, Warren Buffet, if you read or see his life story, you will see that he made all his property, his wealth by investing and all of them are successful and rich investors and what they have always done is a bet on really long term companies for a really long term perspective

So, if you want to create wealth in the stock market then have a long term view at least for 3-5-10 years, ideally 15-20 years and then bet on really strong players, market leaders in the category because you know that as the market grows country will grow, the world economy grows the players who are at number 1,2 or 3 in the industry they will also grow and they will actually be making money for me while I am on no duty.

3. Buying Commodities - If you cant start a business or you can't own a business though you should, then you can own something which the world wants and that is commodities. gold, silver, mostly gold silver too there are other commodities too but we won't go there

When you own these assets they also increase in value and they make you wealthy but the big mistake in this when an individual mind understands gold investing it instantly thinks of jewellery. No, jewellery is not the right investment. if you want to invest in gold and silver then invest digitally by buying gold bonds or ETFs.

Basically, a digital bond is the best way for you to invest in gold or silver or any commodities

4. Real Estate - If think real estate an investment purpose then it could make sense. buy a cheap house that you can afford which you won't have to take a lot of loans for, ideally, you should not take any loan buy an apartment or small house worth 10-15 lakhs because that then gives you the freedom of not having to pay interest whatever rental income it garners you 5-10-15 thousand rupees maximum a house worth 10-15 lakhs will never get more than that will help you either reduce the EMI or generate additional income and then the value of that house over a long term will appreciate so you will have something which is an asset which will make money for you even when you are not on duty and that is a brilliant asset to have

5- Create Intellectual Property - Something that you will have to make only once but it will make money for life.

A great example of that is content. If I am writing this article in 2021 then this article keeps getting views in 2022.2023 or lifetime and based on that there will be a brand that will be built and if ads will be running on these it will give me lifetime money or I would write a book or a song or produce content that might be purchased around the world

If you did it once will keep earning royalty or revenue from it for life and these are brilliant assets.

Suppose you are a graphic designer and have made a lot of good graphic designs and put them on the net and sell them may be in the first month no one buys or it takes a year but if it is inevitable that someone would buy it in the next 5 to 10 years and if you release a lot of such design in the market. 100-200-300 as many as you can make at some point of time it will start generating income for you which you had no idea of when you started and that is true wealth

These 5 ways are the surest way for you to think about getting. if you look at any rich person you will find that they use their maximum time and money in one of these things if not all 5 things because they know that their money will grow only when it is invested in an asset a thing that makes money not waste it

“Failure is not the opposite but the part of success.”- Arjun Pandit

Appreciate-the-failure

Once in a Physics class, the teacher asked the students, “Why do we have brakes in a car?” He received varied answers:

  • “To stop”
  • “To reduce speed”
  • “To avoid collision” etc.,
  • But the best answer was,
  • “To enable you to drive faster”

Give it a thought.

For a moment assume you have no brakes in your car then how fast will you drive your car? It is only because of brakes that we can dare to accelerate, dare to go fast, and reach destinations we desire. At various points in life, we find our parents, teachers, mentors, and friends questioning our progress, direction, or decision. We consider them as irritants or consider such inquiries as “brakes” to our ongoing work.

But remember, it is because of such questions (periodical brakes) that you have managed to reach where you are today. Without brakes, you could have skid, lost direction, or met with an unfortunate accident.

People associate failure with defeat. “That’s it, that’s all. pack up shop! We’re done here……” that the majority certainly isn’t the case. Failure doesn’t mean the top, it just means you would like to seek out a special road. We place ourselves in a negative mindset about failure. remember your failures; would you're taking any of them back? What did you gain and learn from your failures? You won't get any benefit from failure until you start learning lessons from them. You have to convert the negative approach towards failure to a positive approach.

When we fail we learn, grow, and thrive. We gain new perspectives on the planet around us. Failure forces people out of the temperature and challenges them to form great leaps. this is often the importance of failure! Failure is that the Stepping Stone to Success

Failure has shaped all of our lives. From adolescence to adulthood, failure has been the ever-present, master teacher altogether things. If we always feared failure, we might be walking on eggshells and living a subpar, mediocre life.

It’s also a life resume builder of experience for the longer term. By learning from failure, we will know our weaknesses and operate inside our zones of strength.

I am deeply and sincerely grateful for all my priceless BRAKES. Appreciate the “brakes” in your life. Without them, we wouldn't be where we are today.

THE SIX GUNAS

"Treat success and failure, profit and loss, happy occurrences and unhappy ones just the same. ... And that is what Rama demonstrates through His responses to His father's orders and Kaikeyi's wishes."- lord Krishna

the-six-gunas

Every human being keeps on making many desires for his comfort and happiness. To fulfill these desires, he performs various types of deeds. One wish is fulfilled and after some time another desire arises. Then he works to fulfill it. In this way, the velocity of karma keeps increasing in him. Not all human desires are fulfilled, but due to the fulfillment of desires or keeping an eye on the fruit, we are not able to do our work with full concentration. As a result, we don't succeed. To do our work quickly and efficiently, we must have pat property, that is, six Gunas(qualities).

the-six-gunas

The first is 'Sham' which means concentration of the mind. The work we are doing, our whole mind should be focused on that work. If unnecessary resolution options are coming into our minds, then we should not focus our attention on them. You should complete your work with full dedication.

the-six-gunas

The second one is strength. That is control of one's senses (eyes, nose, ears, etc.). We should focus our senses only on our work to be done in the present. Don't waste time on outside things. Control over senses means control over the mind which will ultimately result in supreme peace and infinite bliss. The world is always pure and true, it's our mind that matters. Our mind is a beautiful place, it should not be an accumulation of doubts and fears, a control over senses is necessary.

For example, Guru Dronacharya once asked his disciples - the Kauravas and the Pandavas - to aim at the eye of an artificial bird sitting on a tree during his education. On asking him a disciple said, I can see you, the tree, and the bird sitting on it. The other said that I can see the tree and the bird. But Arjuna said that I can see only the eye of the bird. Besides that, I'm not seeing anything and he hit the right target. In this way, through practice, we should also focus our attention on the task we have decided on.

The third element of Shata property is 'uparati', that is, to be indifferent to the work other than the work one is doing in the present. With all your strength, ability, and dedication, complete your current work with selflessness. Now one may ask, how can one show selflessness at work? You can use these three steps:

  1. Give credit to others when the team does well.
  2. Offer to help someone at work who is struggling at a task.
  3. Volunteer to do something nobody else wants to do.
  4. Take time to mentor “the new guy/girl”.

The fourth is 'Titiksha', that is, not to be distracted by the favorable or unfavorable circumstances that come in the course of one's work.

Fifth is 'Shraddha', i.e., who are our guides in our work, having full faith in the words of the relevant scriptures, do not have any doubt about it, otherwise, we can get distracted in our path.

The sixth element is 'solution' i.e. concentration of intellect and mind. In the Gita, Lord Arjuna has been told, 'In this Karmayoga there is only one definite intellect, but the intelligence of intelligent, fruitful men with unstable thoughts are certainly of many distinctions and infinite. In this way, even in the absence of material wealth, if we have the above six assets, then we can make proper progress in the worldly and charitable or spiritual field by improving our nature and actions by deciding right and wrong. We should make continuous efforts to keep bringing these qualities in us through practice.

Chanakya Neeti for Achieving Success

Chanakya-Neeti-for-Achieving-Success

Chanakya also known as Vishnugupta or Kautilya was an ancient Indian teacher, philosopher, economist, jurist, and royal advisor. Based on his strategies and principle many new kingdoms emerged. The most remarkable quality of Chanakya was that he was able to successfully manage the education ministry, finance ministry, defense ministry, home ministry during the rule of Chandragupta Maurya. He was also a master of Samudra Shastra (the art of understanding what is in a person’s mind by reading his facial expressions).

Chanakya wrote a book called Chanakya neeti (Chanakya’s principle) that contains principles and strategies, for every aspect of life. If a person reads these neetis he or she acquires a knowledge of the most celebrated principles of duty, and understands what ought and what ought not to be followed, and what is good and what is bad, is most excellent. And the best thing about these nitis is that they are for everyone.

Today we are going to read a Chanakya neeti for achieving success:

CHANAKYA NEETI FOR ACHIEVING SUCCESS

A person should learn 1 lesson from a lion, 1 lesson from a crane, 4 lessons from a cock, 5 lessons from a crow, six lessons from a dog, and three lessons from a donkey.

  • ØThe lesson that one should learn from a lion is that we should act towards our goal with a whole heart (proper acceptance) and with strenuous effort.

Ø  A man should restrain his senses like a crane so that nothing can distract him from his goal. He should accomplish his goal with due knowledge, ability, and willpower.

Ø  a man should learn 4 things from cock; wake up early because that provides you with some extra time and give you time to be better than your competitors and helps you to excel, to make a fair division of property among relations so that there is no brawl between you & your family because during difficult times family provides help, always be fearless and walk in the straight path and earn your bread from your hard work.

Ø  One should learn 5 things from a crow; maintain privacy, be fearless, store only useful things, be careful and have your eyes everywhere and never trust anyone easily because you don’t know what does the other person wants from you.

Ø  One should learn these 6 things from a dog; fearlessness, be honest, being happy with what we have even though it is less, being content with little or nothing, and learning the art to wake instantly even during a night of deep sleep (the logic behind this is that there can be an attack on you. )And be brave.

Ø  The three things to learn from a donkey are; always carry your burden, never be disappointed due to conditions, and always be happy with what you have.

  1. THE FABULOUS FOUR SECRETS

  1. POSITIVE THINKING

A person who thinks positively can overcome even the biggest challenge easily. According to Acharya Chanakya, the person who sits in a difficult situation, scared of challenges, is never successful. But a person with a positive vision overcomes the challenges in such times and achieves the destination of success.

  1. HARD WORK

It is said that everything is written in destiny. But hardworking people make their fortune through their hard work. According to Acharya Chanakya, the person who reaches the pinnacle of success is very hardworking. A successful person never stops working. Those who rely on luck never get success.

  1. ALWAYS IN THE GAME

Inaction keeps a person away from success. But the active person. Shows promptness towards his work. That person touches the height of success. If you want success in life then you must remain active in your field. You should always be in the game.

  1. HAVE STRONG RELATIONSHIP

Building good relations with everyone in the workplace is wonderful art in itself. Not everyone has such brilliant art. But the one who has it is considered successful. Chanakya believes that you should establish good relations with the people of that area in the area you want to work in.

IF ONE NEEDS TO SUCCEED, HE MUST PRACTICE ALL THESE NEETIS.
