Neeti for Achieving Success
Chanakya also known as Vishnugupta or Kautilya was an ancient Indian teacher, philosopher, economist, jurist, and royal advisor. Based on his strategies and principle many new kingdoms emerged. The most remarkable quality of Chanakya was that he was able to successfully manage the education ministry, finance ministry, defense ministry, home ministry during the rule of Chandragupta Maurya. He was also a master of Samudra Shastra (the art of understanding what is in a person’s mind by reading his facial expressions).
Chanakya wrote a book called Chanakya neeti (Chanakya’s principle) that contains principles and strategies, for every aspect of life. If a person reads these neetis he or she acquires a knowledge of the most celebrated principles of duty, and understands what ought and what ought not to be followed, and what is good and what is bad, is most excellent. And the best thing about these nitis is that they are for everyone.
Today we are going to read a Chanakya neeti for achieving success:
CHANAKYA NEETI FOR ACHIEVING SUCCESS
A person should learn 1 lesson from a lion, 1 lesson from a crane, 4 lessons from a cock, 5 lessons from a crow, six lessons from a dog, and three lessons from a donkey.
- ØThe lesson that one should learn from a lion is that we should act towards our goal with a whole heart (proper acceptance) and with strenuous effort.
Ø A man should restrain his senses like a crane so that nothing can distract him from his goal. He should accomplish his goal with due knowledge, ability, and willpower.
Ø a man should learn 4 things from cock; wake up early because that provides you with some extra time and give you time to be better than your competitors and helps you to excel, to make a fair division of property among relations so that there is no brawl between you & your family because during difficult times family provides help, always be fearless and walk in the straight path and earn your bread from your hard work.
Ø One should learn 5 things from a crow; maintain privacy, be fearless, store only useful things, be careful and have your eyes everywhere and never trust anyone easily because you don’t know what does the other person wants from you.
Ø One should learn these 6 things from a dog; fearlessness, be honest, being happy with what we have even though it is less, being content with little or nothing, and learning the art to wake instantly even during a night of deep sleep (the logic behind this is that there can be an attack on you. )And be brave.
Ø The three things to learn from a donkey are; always carry your burden, never be disappointed due to conditions, and always be happy with what you have.

A person who thinks positively can overcome even the biggest challenge easily. According to Acharya Chanakya, the person who sits in a difficult situation, scared of challenges, is never successful. But a person with a positive vision overcomes the challenges in such times and achieves the destination of success.

It is said that everything is written in destiny. But hardworking people make their fortune through their hard work. According to Acharya Chanakya, the person who reaches the pinnacle of success is very hardworking. A successful person never stops working. Those who rely on luck never get success.

Inaction keeps a person away from success. But the active person. Shows promptness towards his work. That person touches the height of success. If you want success in life then you must remain active in your field. You should always be in the game.
