Appreciating the brakes – Arjun Pandit

“Failure is not the opposite but the part of success.”- Arjun Pandit

Appreciate-the-failure

Once in a Physics class, the teacher asked the students, “Why do we have brakes in a car?” He received varied answers:

  • “To stop”
  • “To reduce speed”
  • “To avoid collision” etc.,
  • But the best answer was,
  • “To enable you to drive faster”

Give it a thought.

For a moment assume you have no brakes in your car then how fast will you drive your car? It is only because of brakes that we can dare to accelerate, dare to go fast, and reach destinations we desire. At various points in life, we find our parents, teachers, mentors, and friends questioning our progress, direction, or decision. We consider them as irritants or consider such inquiries as “brakes” to our ongoing work.

But remember, it is because of such questions (periodical brakes) that you have managed to reach where you are today. Without brakes, you could have skid, lost direction, or met with an unfortunate accident.

People associate failure with defeat. “That’s it, that’s all. pack up shop! We’re done here……” that the majority certainly isn’t the case. Failure doesn’t mean the top, it just means you would like to seek out a special road. We place ourselves in a negative mindset about failure. remember your failures; would you're taking any of them back? What did you gain and learn from your failures? You won't get any benefit from failure until you start learning lessons from them. You have to convert the negative approach towards failure to a positive approach.

When we fail we learn, grow, and thrive. We gain new perspectives on the planet around us. Failure forces people out of the temperature and challenges them to form great leaps. this is often the importance of failure! Failure is that the Stepping Stone to Success

Failure has shaped all of our lives. From adolescence to adulthood, failure has been the ever-present, master teacher altogether things. If we always feared failure, we might be walking on eggshells and living a subpar, mediocre life.

It’s also a life resume builder of experience for the longer term. By learning from failure, we will know our weaknesses and operate inside our zones of strength.

I am deeply and sincerely grateful for all my priceless BRAKES. Appreciate the “brakes” in your life. Without them, we wouldn't be where we are today.
